Mini Chiller: Troubleshooting Guide

When any malfunction is occurred, immediately switch off the power supply to the unit, and contact the local

dealer, if necessary. Some simple

troubleshooting tips are given below:

Symptoms Possible Causes Remedial Action

1. Compressor does

not start

v No power supply

v Fuses blown or automatic circuit breakdown

open

v Defective contactor or coil

v Unit is stopped because a safety has tripped

v Loose wires

v Compressor faulty

v Check power supply

v Look for short circuit or grounded wires in

motor windings

Replace fuses and reset circuit breakers

when the fault has been corrected

Check tightness and soundness of all

electrical connection

v Repair or replace

v Determine the type of safety shut down and

correct the unit is restarted

v Check wire connection and tighten terminal

screw

v Contact local dealer

2. Fan does not start v No power supply

v Fan motor faulty

v Check power supply

v Contact local dealer

3. Air conditioning

does work, but

insufficient cooling

v Thermostat setting too high

v Condenser coil dirty

v Obstacle blocking air inlet or outlet of the unit

v Insufficient refrigerant in the system

v Improper water flow rate

v Water in the system is contaminated

v Reset thermostat

v Contact local dealer

v Remove the obstacle
